Day 3: March 19, 2016
We left from the hotel at 8:30 am. All the students had a good rest and you could see on their face that they where full of energy for the day. We had a coach waiting for us in front of the hotel and went to meet Fred, our local guide for the London sightseeing tour and Windsor castle.
We saw the National History Museum from the outside, drove pass the famous Harrods department store and had a first stop near by St Paul's Cathedral. Our guide took us to a roof top to have a great general view of south London and St Paul's. Back on the coach we drove to Hyde Park,Tower bridge, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. We had a photo stop in front of the palace. We arrived at Windsor Castle just before lunch and gave the students one hour of free time before we started the visit. Some lucky one saw the Queen from far away but where not invited for tea....
They had some more free time for shopping before we drove back to London city center for dinner at Hard Rock Café. After dinner we all went to covent garden for more shopping and enjoy London Saturday evening with many street performers. We finished our evening by singing and dancing with one of them.
A great moment, we all loved it.
