Well, well. We landed. Just with a bit of a delay but there they came. Full of energy, power and we made our way to hotel to leave our suitcases. Once ready we went out to explore this grand city. Antonio led in the subway and getting us to central Paris. We saw Les Invalides and approached the Eiffel tower by the banks of the river Seine we cruised. But before that we got some lunch. First meal in Paris sitting on a terrace by the river and with the tower watching over us. The sun was shinning with a chilly breeze that kept us awake. Enjoyed that cruise that covered lots of the many monuments along the river . We moved down the waters towards the Ile de la cité where Notre Dame is. Went inside it after some comments made by Antonio about the Gothic style. Also had a short break that served for visiting the shops. There are lots of them in this area near the Latin Quarter and all open even today Sunday. Dinner was at a very impressive restaurant in the exclusive island of Saint Louis. Fantastic day. Rode back on the metro.
