Day 4: March 15, 2016
Having packed last night gave us ample time to enjoy breakfast and be down in the lobby to find our bus and load. Jean Luc took us took us to Montparnasse train station. We were so excited to ride in one of the fastest trains in Europe, the TGV. That was really good fun at the same time we saw some parts of the country. The final destination was Biarritz at the most southwestern corner of France, a region known as Aquitane. The train stopped few time before reaching Biarritz, at Bayone, Lux and Bordeaux, the largest city in the area, the capital of this wine producing area, one the best known on Earth. These excluse wines have been an example to follow, an example of excellency in one of the great wine producers countries in the world. Biarritz took us by surprise. On the Atlantic ocean, this former fishing village became a top tourist resort much favour by kings and queens. We loved going to the sandy heach where we played for a while on a lovely afternoon. Drove to Spain and headed to Irun, just after the border, our headquarter for the next couple of nights.
